Our coaches

"I've been training with Mark for almost 2 years and have never done the same session twice. My fitness is maintained when I'm flat out with work, and when I'm particularly motivated and have more time and energy, I can train hard and see some amazing results.
But the most important confirmation of Mark's expertise is that no one in the group has ever had an injury despite different fitness levels, different sessions and different abilities.
This is a testament to his professionalism and commitment to the right program for the group".

"I have known Mark Robinson for over 3 years and during that time I have found Mark's coaching style to be encouraging, informative and definitely not intimidating. Mark caters for all levels of running, targeting programs to specific individual's abilities and importantly he uses training techniques which work to an individual's strengths, getting the most out of each individual.
Mark provides invaluable advice about injury prevention, injury management, training programs, and race strategies. When I decided to get a running coaching I had been running and racing for about 7 years but I had no consistent training approach to my running and I mostly did the same training runs but expected to get faster.
I then heard someone state that the definition of insanity was doing the same thing again and again (like my training runs) and expecting a different outcome! I had thought about a running coach but I was concerned that while I was a consistent runner I was definitely not fast and I was of the belief that running coaches were for the very fast runners.
At that time Mark Robinson was recommended to me and he very quickly made it clear that running coaching could benefit runners of all abilities. So over the last two years I have undertaken regular coaching with Mark and have realised consistent improvement with my running ability and ultimately improved racing times.

I would encourage any runner who wants to improve their running to give running coaching with Mark Robinson a try; you have nothing to lose, except decreasing racing times"!
